Hey friends, On Sunday 4/29 Noon @ Media Island

(816 Adams by the Library) the day after the Procession of the Species Parade Eco City Olympia in parternership with the raccoon ARTS collective My Photo will be hosting a work party (with emphasis on Party!) centered around Permaculture Activism, Ecocity development, and the formation of a new City Repair Crew here in Oly. Expect to get your hands dirty doing a little permaculture landscaping on site. There will be coordination meeting for those who are interested in attending the upcoming Village Building Convergence (7) May 18-27 in Portland OR. The Raccoon Collective will also be organizing and inviting ideas for the upcoming Westside Artswalk (4) and the first Oly Zine Fair (both May 26th). Come on out so you can get to know your community and bring some food if you've got it. We'll see you there! stay stout, the raccoons and Eco City Olympia

The Sproketts and REBEL clown army!!! oh goodness

*The Sprockettes!* SUNDAY 4/22 2pm @ Evergreen Red Square The worlds first mini bike dance team is coming! The sprockettes rock our on their bikes, promoting positive body image, loving bike, and getting down with your bad self. This event will be followed by a workshop on the culture of bicycle dancing. see more here *Clandestine Insurgent REBEL CLOWN ARMY!* Monday April 30th 6 to 9pm Evergreen Sem II A-1105 Join us for this subvert everything rebel clown workshop which will include physical theatre, theatre of the oppressed, improve games, and basic rebel clown maneuvers. The clowns will also be sharing stories about anti-fascists silliness in the borderlands. see more here

Freeplay hits D-town PDX

Our friend freeplay from the Raccon Collective busted out this wheatpaste/stencil/installation in downtown Portland right next to the entrance to Chinatown (4th ave and Burnside) check it out if it's still up it's part of an urban patch seires he's working on. The backgrouond is made of mix media utility cover prints and the text says "Imagine your escape!" -- *BEWARE:we never hibernate!
