Hey our friends in the Beehive Design Collective will be doing a workshop up at Evergreen this Friday 7pm Seminar building II room A1105. The beehive collective based in Maine works on alternatives to corporate imperialism and globalization through art, design, cross border outreach and education. We love the bees and we're excited to see they're new poster which has been years in the making. These folks are truly stout!!!

will be hosting a work party (with emphasis on Party!) centered around Permaculture Activism, Ecocity development, and the formation of a new City Repair Crew here in Oly. Expect to get your hands dirty doing a little permaculture landscaping on site. There will be coordination meeting for those who are interested in attending the upcoming Village Building Convergence (7) May 18-27 in Portland OR. The Raccoon Collective will also be organizing and inviting ideas for the upcoming Westside Artswalk (4) and the first Oly Zine Fair (both May 26th). Come on out so you can get to know your community and bring some food if you've got it. We'll see you there!

The worlds first mini bike dance team is coming! The sprockettes rock our on their bikes, promoting positive body image, loving bike, and getting down with your bad self. This event will be followed by a workshop on the culture of bicycle dancing. see more here

Tales from a group of 25 artists and performers that floated the Mississippi this summer on home made rafts. A group of travelers that take a hands-on approach to creating change, they will be telling stories and giving a multi media presentation on their experiences and the impact it had on themselves and the people they met.
